Reagan McKay is a 23-year-old photographer living in Nashville, TN. She recently graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in December of 2023, with a BS in Photography and Tv/Film production.

Reagan currently works as a freelance photographer, multicam operator, stagehand, and production assistant in the middle Tennessee area. She specializes in live event photography and portraiture, and prioritizes environmental lighting and true to color editing. She has worked as a camera operator for True Blue Event Productions and Box5 Media to cover a variety of live music and sporting events, including MTSU women’s soccer, Ryman Sidewalk Sessions, Bands of America regional and Grand National marching band competitions, and Heart of America show choir competitions.

In her free time, Reagan likes to spend time working on her own personal photographic projects. Her body of work titled The Congregation was a contemporary fine art portraiture project created for her senior capstone, and focuses on the DIY house show community in Nashville and Murfreesboro Tennessee, using portraiture and concert photography to capture the liveliness and heart in these spaces. From April 20th to August 11th 2023, The Congregation was displayed in The Baldwin Photographic Gallery, located on MTSU’s campus, and her work is included in the campus’s photographic archive. When she’s not holding a camera, you can find her skating with the Nashville Roller Derby, or snuggled up at home with her elderly cat Dusty.
